        It was a compelling interview, thank you for taking the time to do it. One aside that must be mentioned in the sake of culture, Pepe is not a mascot of the alt right. Journalists' willingness to randomly mention it in interviews like this casts light to but one tangent of Pepe.

        It creates a perception that is basically invented by your willingness to blame whatever is in front of you -- potentially delegitimizing you. The number of uses that image has found itself spans all orientations. Please be educated on this.

        At no one point is Pepe one "thing", but when you label it as an image of white supremacist/Nazi propaganda, then it becomes something concrete to those who are not versed in this shit. this inadvertently gives you responsibility
