I spent 7 months in Mahwah, NJ combatting the vile antisemitism in display and blogging under @EruvLitigation
I couldn’t get the NYT to notice or write an editorial. Yea there has been silence. But it’s been deafening in your paper as well.

Is this same reporter who put Jewish senators’ names in yellow and made a special chart to segregate the names of Jewish senators and representatives from their colleagues?
-
Yes, which by the way, highlighted the dual loyalty dog whistle of the Obama administration.

Because Israel and Zionists thrive on antisemitism. That’s oxygen to them. A fuel for their evil ideology which keeps them going killing innocent civilians.

American Jews have assimilated into the greater body politic. We are part of a political diaspora, with many of us falling into the Trump-Fox News fold. As a result, “Jewish Ethics” no longer apply to our collective view of government. We simply have no collective view.

this is a good article but there's no excuse for that title. You're correctly blaming Jewish institutions for being silent, but the headline blames the rank and file who are fighting for their life right now

Great idea for a book. Do you mention anti-semitism on the left as well as eligible for criticism from the Dems eg. Farrakhan two weeks ago?

You don't have to be opposed to Jesus. He was a Jew in the prophetic tradition and did not intend to start a new religion. It was his followers who broke with Judaism. Much of his teaching is already found in the Hebrew scriptures. He insisted more on the spirit, not the letter.
-
Yes? The Hebrew scriptures, others like the commentaries are more anti-Christ. Holy Shyt! That's the first time I've ever used anti-Christ meaning Anti-Christ but not meaning The AntiChrist!

You left out the most important detail--that BDS and anti-Israel sentiment is largely what drives this, and it's allowed to flow freely on college campuses. If you want to fight this, it's time to push college campuses to keep this out of their schools.
-
Shutting down the the 1st amendment rights of students on college campuses is not the answer. End the racist occupation, problem solved.
-
So, there was peace before 1967? I didn't realize that.... Curious about something--if the KKK wanted to host Lynch a Black Week on college campuses, would you support their rights to free speech and the 1st amendment...?
-
Equating students protesting the systemic racism in Israel with the KKK is disingenuous, if not delusional. Do you support segregation?
-
How so? The KKK thinks their cause is just as valid as the BDS bots do. Do you support anyone else besides Jews having no right to self-determination? You are essentially trying to continue what hitler started. Didn't work for him, won't work for you either.
-
So, that's a yes on segregation? How about we have seperate roads here in the US, no Jews allowed? That would be racist though, wouldn't it. It's just as racist there.
-
There are no Jews only roads in Israel, either. Btw, seems you don't really support the first amendment if you don't think the KKK have the right to free speech. Seems hatred is only allowed when you're spewing it.
-
You keep trying to make Israeli institionalized racism about the KKK. Only in Israel is supporting equality and equal rights viewed as spewing hatred.
