Mathematics is neither offensive nor defensive. It is simply mathematics. 100 - 44 = 56. Democrats blocked passage. And before the vote, Democrats said that was a good thing.

What’s your response to this legitimate criticism of your constant slant that
@GOP position is normal when it’s so radical? This is an annual appropriations for nearly entire govt undone three months into the FY. How is this one vote fail on Dems? Do you not get budgeting?

Excuse me, I meant 5 Democrats voted yes. 5 Democrat defections does not square with the idea of the whole delegation holding together to kill the CR. They would need some help. Which they got. In 4 senators who don’t share their party affiliation.
