You are braver than I am. Dick’s Sporting Goods was the only retailer with a conscious and I haven’t seen anyone else, including and particularly Walmart grow a spine.
-
-
-
Spine to do what? Wall mart sells mostly hunting rifles. They don’t sell assault rifles. They don’t sell handguns. They don’t even sell guns in all stores.
-
The idea is more along the lines that it should be illegal to sell guns, any guns, a few aisles down from where they also sell children’s toys
-
Why? Walmart serves a large number of customers, many in rural areas who engage in legal activities like hunting (Walmart’s primary gun sales).
-
Because guns are weapons. Whether you use them for hunting or self defense, they are designed to kill. Therefore there should be serious safety precautions when selling them, like in a gun store with people who are knowledgeable and customers with licenses.
-
Your argument is absurd and is all over the place.
-
Kamyla’s argument is pretty clear and cogent. You just don’t want to listen to a rational argument about restricting access to guns. Walmart sells food, clothes, and housewares. Guns should be sold by trained professionals, not the milk boy.
-
Milk boy doesn't work at Walmart. The ppl who do sell hunting rifles at Walmart are qualified/knowledgeable abt guns, just like the men who sell car batteries & tires for your specific automobile. Trained staff at designated parts of store, nt everywhere bt certain parts.

Just so u know when u buy a gun online they have to ship it to a gun store of your choice. The gun store then does the background check

A very good friend wanted to gift me a collectible shotgun, but since we lived in different states, she would be required to ship it to a gun store, I would have to pay $75 for a certificate and background check, etc. Facts matter.

Great..."reporting"? I honestly have no idea, what the hell do you call this, because it sure as hell isn't journalism.

Did you purchase?? Still subject to a background check you moron and you’d have to pick up at a local gun store. Typical democrat liar only telling a portion of a story that fits your narrative. No wonder the paper you work for is failing!!
