Not really. AOC has been featured extensively by the national press and is one of the defacto leaders of the progressive wing of the party. Also, she says idiotic crap, over and over and is disliked by large swaths of Americans. Yours is a weak take.
The conservative fixation on @AOC, a freshman Democrat in a safe seat, may work electorally (that's to be seen) but it is the equivalent of the entire Democratic apparatus deciding its best foil is @DanCrenshawTX, another backbench freshman from a safe seat.
