Not following how that matters in this instance. She said something. A concerned member of the public told her what she said might be a problem. She responded and said she wanted to learn more. Treating this as a scandal rather than a victory is juvenile.
Members of Congress shouldn’t need to be told whether it’s good form to meet with an anti-Semitic European party official. Replace AOC with Trump and Corbyn with Le Pen, and would you be relying on several Twitter posts to determine whether it’s right or wrong? C’mon.

Or take any Republican member of Congress to take Trump out of the picture. Ask yourself: Would you have the same reaction? A mere “oops, I’ll try better next time” reaction would suffice?
