And in this case (if you read the article, not the Tweet), you'll see the "pouncing" is from Democrats and Republicans. That's what makes it a great story.

This "Republicans pounce" criticism is silly. A month ago, a huge new class of Democrats were sworn in. Four weeks later, the press comes back to see how the dust settled, which lawmakers have become lightning rods, which are worth revisiting. Go back and read the story. The report says their own Dem colleagues are uneasy or critical of their comments, which is more newsworthy than whatever Republicans say about them. Now read your tweet about the story.
