He was also asked by @morningmika "Who was the best Democratic president of the last 50 years" and he answered "FDR."

I wonder what he makes of FDR’s take on marginal tax rates

-
Don't confuse him while he's bad-mathing on Morning Joe

Policies and personalities aside, if I have the resources Reagan had when I'm seventy, you're gonna see me in sweats a LOT.

Don't tuck in the button down
-
Again, if I've got that level of clout at that age, I'll tuck or un-tuck as I please.

I think Alyssa is trying to do you a favor here.
-
I'm not saying I don't appreciate the gesture. I'm just saying a septuagenarian with millions of dollars and nuclear access codes doesn't need favors.

Not if he's also senile, no.

but
@SteveSchmidtSES TOLD him Reagan never took off his jacket. I'm beginning to think this Howard Schultz character isn't very bright. He must have hired well at Starbucks. -
Steve's been real quiet on Twitter since this came out. It's almost like he knows it's a unpopular sham of a candidacy and he just would like to cash a few more checks before the wheels fall off. Never Trumpers: finally, some *real* defenders of democracy.

-
Bill Burton is grabbing himself a few Starbucks gift cards too.
-
Ugh I know. And there is just no excuse for that. This is one of those times when the humiliation of village stocks (in the form of a shaming booth at the Dem Nat'l Convention in 2020) is not a bad idea.
-
Yeah Reagan, who slept through most of his second term...

Poor Howard. When you forget 10 million people are fact checking you at any one time.

These billionaires can get away with saying anything to their employees, who are dependent on them for their livelihoods. When they step into the real world, the wheels come flying off. So sick of all of them.
-
Great take.

This is the rich sickness. They get so used to being felched by people around them (at work, or at home with their trophy wife) that they start to believe it after a while. Then they step out of the bubble and BAM! Reality bites.
