The Supreme Court once again devalued Trump's offer on his DACA-for-wall deal by not taking up the DACA review. That means the lower court's decision to keep DACA in place extends without Trump's deal.
Court’s inaction almost certainly means it will not hear challenge in current term, which ends in June. The next conference to consider petitions seeking review is Feb. 15. Even were they to agree to hear the case, it would not be argued until after next term starts in October.

Terrible decision A) DACA is pretty clearly unconstitutional & should be dealt with forthwith. B) it allows politicians to avoid dealing with important immigration issues and do what they need to do... compromise. A bad decision that hurts the country.
And yet the courts keep DACA in place.

Time to free the Federal 800,000 - DACA concessions are now as relevant as Republicans promise to balance the budget.
This is they only reason Trump offered this so-called compromise in the first place. This writing was on the wall by last Friday. There is nothing in here for the Dems, meanwhile the GOP bill would extract additional hidden concessions from D's on asylum, etc.

All McConnell has to do to pay the 800,000 is allow a vote on the same bill he got passed 100-0 (veto-proof margin) last month.
Trump isn’t offering DACA for wall. He’s offering some watered down temporary extensions with a couple of poison pills tacked on.
