  The last significant drop was when Bill Clinton was up for re-election. I can't stand the Clintons and Russia has nothing to do with it. I swallowed bile and voted for Hillary in 2016 (against Trump not for her). I never voted for Bill.

  I'm not denying that this happened but Trump won because of white women and men...my guess is that Russia had an active campaign to push anti POC media to turn that vote out, particularly in the rust belt. It would have been cheaper and way easier.

  The Russian news is important. However, I wonder what percentage of the drop was due to effective Republican voter suppression laws and activities like we saw in North Carolina's 2018 congressional race.

  Some of that may be Russia, but most of it is the striking down of the VRA section 2. Even the courts said "Voter ID" requirements targeting black voters with "surgical precision."
