I get why greedy American political operatives would take the money of Russian billionaires. I get why American billionaires would do business with Russian billionaires. I don't get why the GOP let Trump be advised by Manafort & Bannon. What beyond money may Mercer want?
On the surface, Hungary seems to be operating normally. Below the Constitutional Court is stacked with Orban judges. The judiciary & prosecution service are headed by his supporters.
