I’ve wondered about this too. If, say, I knew someone in college who smoked a lot of pot and then they were on TV under oath swearing that they never touched the stuff, would I feel compelled to come forward (especially if I agreed with them politically)?

About "blacking out". Your guest said that maybe that's why Kavanaugh answered as he did because he thought of blacking out as passing out. When asked him if he had ever gotten drunk where he couldn't remember and he responded with "blacking out" - no.

Quick question for you all that worked up my ears. There was mention in the episode of Kavanaugh getting in a drunken fight that resulted in a mutual friend being jailed. Would there be police record of this? Wouldn’t it mention Kavanaugh?
