Agree. Ms. Mitchell is doing a straight job of testing Dr. Ford's memory, Dr. Ford seems credible, the @SenateDems are making points. No advocacy for Judge Kavanaugh. I bet Ms. Mitchell will NOT question Judge Kavanaugh.
I would say that this format with Rachel Mitchell as questioner has been an utter disaster for Kavanaugh's defenders, but I have to admit the alternative -- Republican questioners -- probably would have been worse.

Wouldn’t Kavanaugh have been better served by saying he had done a lot of drinking in high school and college and remembers very little, and that if has done anything wrong, he’s deeply sorry and has spent most of his adult life striving to be an excellent husband and father?
