In a blue wave in MD, a better candidate would have made that a real race. Just look at Jealous’ negatives in MD-GOV polling. Speaking of left causing probs in MD: Takoma Park progressive causing all sorts of probs for Dems in reliably blue Montgomery County. Civil war.
Agree with @JohnJHarwood here. Nobody was going to beat Larry Hogan this year, a moderate to liberal Republican who steered Maryland in the center while overcoming cancer. His race is as meaningful as Baker’s in Massachusetts. Not part of the equation.

Having spent a good amount of time in Dundalk (toddler takes swimming lessons there), I can imagine there are a LOT of Clinton/Olzyszki (sp?)/Hogan voters there.
