Every one of these polls should be limited to those 64 or younger. Because the rest are already on a plan that doesn't require private insurance (obvious caveat about 20% coverage gap aside).

In what scenario is "private insurance" eliminated? To my knowledge, every country in the world has private health insurance, even prototypical social healthcare countries.

This is true in Canada and they’re still heavily profitable and employ a vast amount.

There is no need to eliminate private insurance. This is a red herring because the current bill does not call for its elimination. If people want to waste their money on redundant coverage, they're free to do it.
