    Yet another majority-women hiring batch. Is anyone tracking this for these type of hires? It's extraordinary. This isn't incremental progress; this is an entire administration with - likely - a majority of women. (Outside of the permanent bureaucracy, that is). A huge story.

    Symmetry: Democrats and Republicans are both focused on the basic rules of democracy right now. Asymmetry: Republicans want to limit the ability of Democratic-leaning constituencies to vote. Democrats want everybody to have equal access to the ballot.

    Sometimes people say "wait, doesn't everybody know airborne transmission is important?" If you follow the right experts on Twitter, I guess? Meanwhile, a library in one of the highest-educated US counties is "quarantining" returned books for seven days.
