People at Microsoft are not interested in finding individual bugs. They approach entire bug classes as an engineering challenge. Which is fascinating to see.

Sometimes, me just staring at a debugger, finding individual bugs, getting CVEs, feels like a selfish endeavour. But I hope one day, once I better understand the nuances and patterns of bugs, I can do more... either that or sell 0days to the Russians.

yarh - ending worldhunger would be great, until that happens though people tend to be happy for every single meal they do get. To me it sounds more like challenged engineers giving up and just lowering the bounties instead of fixing the problems.
