those numbers seem totally unrealistic to me, how can the average be so high with new lov bounty amounts. And none of the researchers I talk with even submits any more- I cannot make those numbers match at all

In the Blog they say 10k per report. Multiple reports per person.

That will also include web based bounty programs which are usually more expansive and better paying overall than most of the platform bounties.
