Also when all search results point to crappy web results- I NEVER want a web search result from my taskar. Or when you press character nr. 3 and it just disappear. https://www.voidtools.com/ is everything the start bar should be.

There is lots of things wrong with windows- also many good things. There is two small things that constantly pisses me off though. 1. When you press winkey but that popup startmenu do not get focus- useless. Its there- but you cant type.

The other thing is scroll bars- not being able to scroll at the the rightmost pixel is unforgiveable. Then when you manage to summon the bar- there is a tiny other nuance of white to show position. I cannot spot that- it was once so easy to use now constant annoyance

I was just about to say "oh my goodness it's not just me?" This drives me absolutely bonkers. Like winkey, type type, ugh, winkey winkey, type. Maybe twice a day. Absolutely stock Windows 10, no OEM crap.

I actually almost never use start menu- its just way to slow. I have a folder of tools- each tool have subfolder, then in root i have shortcut files to the actual launcher. They have 1-3 char long names. winkey + r ,ft = filetest winkey + r ,i = ida winkey + r ,o = winobjex

its crazy- windows search rapes my system in cpu , api entries when logging etc. that data is used to make start menu searchable- but it works like crap, would rather it only search in actual things in start menu. everything though- barely noticeable, and its search is INSTANT

everything first open volumes raw and parse the MFT directly, instead of opening every dir and enumerating all files- then it suscribes to usr journal updates. ive seen it index 10 tb in 12 seconds....its just quality software.
