      Intel discontinues System Studio. Its successor (OneAPI Base Toolkit) doesn't have System Debugger for HW debugging via JTAG. Intel System Bring-up Toolkit still contains the debugger but is only availble after NDA signing. Play a little and that's enough...pic.twitter.com/xMZfIruX0n

      What about bcdedit enablejtagbreak - can it be used? Intel also pulled dal ( java applets on me chip )- that is pulled source and sdk- but still deploys it every chance. And their wayland project is is discusting spying

      I suppose the bcdedit options simply turns on int1 (icebp) instruction, but without the physicall connection to JTAG it'll simply hang OS. Anyway you need the Intel System Debugger to perform halt/go...

      I dont think they use it internally - i may be wrong. By looking at files in the debug enterprice iso i got the imprression that kdstub.dll kd_02_10df.dll kd_02_10ec.dll and windbg is enough

      No, that's not enough. There's a special adapter (exi plugin) between JTAG and WinDbg. JTAG is a hardware features, it can't be implemented without the physicall connection
