      Q for Windows experts: There is no way to permanently disable Windows Defender in Windows 10 Home, right? Is there still a way to permanently disable it in Windows 10 Pro?

      it is always possible to make defender just as disabled as ms decisions. we talking secure boot? isolated core? antitamper?

      I want to run some malware sandboxes (mainly for dynamic unpacking). Because I'm not made out of money I want to use Home instead of Pro. I tried various methods to disable Defender (e.g. https://github.com/DBHeise/VM_Setup/blob/master/00_Windows/DisableWindowsDefender.ps1 …). But Defender always comes back.

      I have an older VM in which Defender stays disabled. But it is Pro. Any pointers on how to definitively disable Defender in Home (and/or Pro) would be greatly appreciated.
