trying to reproduce the second step (rename
$DATA stream) but that NtSetInformationFile button is disabled have I missed anything? :O

I done this cool trick, but I got a new question: I rename the $DATA stream from msgbox.exe → wtf.txt after close handle I can see msgbox.exe got deleted; and a new file wtf.txt left there but cannot be deleted (due to the running process) -
you have to rename it to another stream- not another file. rename it to :omgwtfbq - then open the exact same file again. now lock moved with the stream- so you can delete it
