It would take 12+ years for gamers to adopt new hardware. Millions are still on Windows 7, let alone 10 + new hardware.
then good thing there is still a way for them to game- they are just not gonna game against those that can attest they are running a secure system.

Why not stay on an insecure system if you can still play? Need to provide incentive to play securely, which implies one class of users becomes second class, even though they’ve done nothing wrong.
