I might be wrong but usually game devs. dont focus much on security (nowadays they do know people take it more seriously than eg. 15 years ago)and in theory it´s easier to exploit different types of bugs, from "cheating" to serious issues that would allow to take over the target
It is not so much about exploiting the games - more about hiding for generic anti cheat systems that looks for hooks, drivers, file tampering etc.
