I was recently reminded that I needed to disable Defender on a Win10 VM. Every time I set "Turn off Microsoft Defender Antivirus" to "Enable", it would reset to "Not configured" on reboot. In a Heisenberg sort of way, it only stuck when I booted with a Procmon log.pic.twitter.com/WDbRFp9nx6
what? you changed the state by observing it? it shouldnt be this hard to disable it
