How do I get my hands on the dumps in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Containers\Dumps ? I am starting to get pissed about the constant fight with obscure settings to get a chance to see my dumps and not just forward to borg HQ, then delete.

Well one way would probably be to remove your delete rights on the folder. ;-) I've used that trick before to capture files that would be "deleted" before I could grab them. Can't say for sure it will work here; but it is a possibility.

i mean- of course I can make it behave somehow.... its just the principle in it- I almost use more time trying to get my dumps then finding the vulns that crashes the machines

Yeah, another possibility is to firewall or stop Dr. watson (assuming it is still responsible for uploading the dumps); so then because it can't connect the dumps are left until it can.

DR. Watson you say? I better start by checking if doublespace is loaded in config.sys then, if I need more performance because of its constant compress/decompress ill just throw in stacker into autoexec.bat - that should fix it ;)

LOL, yeah I remember doing a lot of those tricks... :) However, Dr. Watson is still a part of Win 10; https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-server/performance/disable-enable-dr-watson-program … according to the MS KB.
