The amount of ..; bugs in core products is honestly fucking hilarious. I’m seriously curious how many privately sold zero days have been burned in the last year(s) as a direct result of CVE’s directed related to it.

It’s a pattern rather than anomaly. See also: every major hypervisor on the market has shown a directory traversal(!) vuln at least once, and more than one patch of that was bypassed
umm..i remember vmvare shared folder directory traversal, but what directory traversal have there been in virtual box? And the hyper-v is not public yet
