I doubt it would be that interesting- it dosnt even have letter based mountpoint- so would kinda get stucked there.

What the… even… … mksh’s DOSPATH compile-time flag (active in mksh for OS/2 for example) only allows drive letters A‥Z for sanity, nor such hidden environment variables.

I like your blog, is there a term for people that like edge cases beyond weirdoes? There is a bit more to NUL though- win32 -> path translation redirects it to \Devices\NULL , a device that eats any path and you open a handle that you can write anything to and read nothing from

cding into directories, even if it works, gives "Not enough memory resources are available to process this command."

that is just because i spawn cmd with another name- then it cannot finds its mui file for translated messages and writes that instead
