When your system is useless because of a malfunctioning component that is impossible to disable you do what you must do. If it have unexspected consequences you just undo it. Ive talked with 3 people this week suffering from it. + I assume my readers know what they are doing

And you did not even bother writing why it is a bad idea- that is what triggered me. If you wrote that it was because people risk getting virus, then fine- at least you had a message. A message that is a bit pointless as this is a method to disable defender when normal not works

sure you are allowed to say whatever you want and thinking disabling defender is stupid is a valid opinion- just not the issue this topic is about. If you for example could tell that it was a bad idea because it broke some other functionality I would thank you for it
