I was surprised to discover that you can create a directory junction to an object manager directory (i.e \RPC Control) and from there symbolic link back to the file system. I wonder if it's a deliberate design decision or an accident 
Did you know named pipes can be hardlinked? Me neither- because of course they cant- that would be silly! Windows never silly! The hard link named pipe destination gets opened when you try though....pic.twitter.com/qEBQyJaLIv

Silly question, aren’t all these hardlink issues going to be removed / resolved with the new mitigation related to it?

mitigations are already applied- now you need write access to link from a file. pretty much closed the bug class there
