      Can you provide more detailed steps to reproduce the issue? Especially, the OS version(s), as your tweet suggest that the bug depends on it.

      I have 1 person confirming bsod by just doing what is shown in screenshow. if that do not work then actually split up so you open the nul share with create_tree by holding shift down when clicking on options in filetest-thereby getting the options for the relative file.

      try and start by opening the nul share - do that work for you? if yes then do relative open to that with file_id

      Yes, both 0xA0, and 0x80 as options. The nul share returns STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME.
