When was the last time you used the flag FILE_CREATE_TREE_CONNECTION when opening a file? If done on an UNC path - then doing a relative open using FILE_OPEN_BY_FILEID it appears most Windows end up with BSOD because rdbss.sys dereferences a null pointer.pic.twitter.com/wmk8TH7rlp

Can you provide more detailed steps to reproduce the issue? Especially, the OS version(s), as your tweet suggest that the bug depends on it.

I have 1 person confirming bsod by just doing what is shown in screenshow. if that do not work then actually split up so you open the nul share with create_tree by holding shift down when clicking on options in filetest-thereby getting the options for the relative file.
