That is not needed for me- I just want to research and exploit. Meetings, clients, bosses etc. I am very happy without.
You can work in a great job doing only the things you mentioned.

From this whole thread you sound completely miserable without a stable income, relying on bounties to be paid. Just my 2 cents.
That's really not that far from freelancing and relying on, or trusting in, your customers paying and paying on time...
You might not look someone very happy 
If you are fine writing papers about your bugs and not living from the bounty. You could continue at university.

True but actually we get a monthly salary by university. Also, we're paid for finding new, innovative attacks and not for creating stable PoCs. Slightly different story that allows me to behave like a 5yo in Apple's and Broadcom's inbox.
