Well getfileattribute is shit just have a handle to the target specifying open reparse point and then call getfileinformation by handle
it turns out that GetFileAttributesW returns information about the target of the symbolic link, not the symbolic link itself What? No... Gibberish you talk! GetFileAttributesW as all apis work on the handle it is given as its argument. Nothing special to see here
