That would certainly work assuming it's not setting some super restrictive ACL explictly though. Of course you'd still need to find something useful to do with that primitive :-(
Wait...help me think here :) If ACL in createfile call- nothing will happen, as we are not creating a new file- right? If a SetSecurity call on the Handle, then we may have a vuln exploitable by: hardlink c:\windows\target.exe -> c:\folder\file make folder inheret good acl to fil
then redirect the privelegied filecreatecall to c:\folder\file:stream:$data When setsecurity is called on stream the file will inherit from holder- refelecting to target file.....right?
