Folks at @BlackHatEvents and @defcon - watch your drinks. Years ago I was rufied at a Vegas conference. I was lucky, I just lost a phone, money, and time canceling credit cards. This isn't just something women have to worry about, it's in everyone's threat model. Be vigilant.

I know this is a not popular opinion, but I believe that 90%+ of people claiming to have been roofied at a public event are wrong. Alchohols effect can sometimes be surpricing, especially on an empty stomach. I also have a hard time understanding what the motive would be?
Roofing someone do not make it easier to steal from them, they are more likely to become more agressive. Getting the dosage right would be hard as benzos tend to act more like a stimulant in higher dosages.
