Nice work, I once tried accomplishing the same goal, explaining rop coding in a more visual way , with a tool to aid in following the execution path. I grew tired of it, but the tutorial and screenshots might be helpfull for learning. http://www.inspectorgadget.dk/wiki/Tutorial
I still like my way of visualising rop execution flow, perhaps you could use my screenshots for inspiration?
