The first part of my ROP training series is up in my blog. (See: https://tuonilabs.wordpress.com/ ). It currently contains an intro to ROP, six wargame write-ups, and two CTF write-ups. More to come. All suggestions are welcome.

My aim is to introduce gradually harder challenges, as well as real-world exploits, so that the reader can progress through the series, and it's not a random mix of easy and hard challenges.

Also, is there a particular exploit you'd like me to recreate and explain?

Nice work, I once tried accomplishing the same goal, explaining rop coding in a more visual way , with a tool to aid in following the execution path. I grew tired of it, but the tutorial and screenshots might be helpfull for learning. http://www.inspectorgadget.dk/wiki/Tutorial

I still like my way of visualising rop execution flow, perhaps you could use my screenshots for inspiration?
