Then those democratic candidates are weasels caving to GOP propaganda. Then reason she’s a target is because she’s been the most effective speaker in a generation. Experience and wisdom matter. Not everything new and shiny is good.

Those Dems shunning Pelosi and caving to GOP propaganda are weak and unfit to lead or choose Dem leadership. We don’t want DINO’s or weak Democrats in Congress. Women voters aren’t going to put up with it. Period.

I keep reading comments about "new ideas"—which new ideas are people referring to that Pelosi opposes? What are the specific reasons she should step aside?
-
There are no reasons other than Tim Ryan wants a better title.https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5aba7034e4b008c9e5fbd786 …

One Ryan in the Speaker's chair is enough.

I've yet to read anything detailing the concrete reasons why Democrats like Conor Lamb are so opposed to Pelosi continuing as Speaker. Can anybody point me to something specific other than "Republicans hate her?"
-
The Atlantic article confirms what I've suspected all along—opposition to her stems primarily from male Dem pols who can't deal with being associated with a liberal female Speaker by GOP smear campaigns.

I’m so glad that message everyone took from 2016 is “let’s ditch the female leader!”.

I'm confused. What exactly has Pelosi done to harm the Democratic party? Surely, we'll lose in mid terms & 2020 if this trend goes forward, imho.

If they genuinely believe she shouldn't be Speaker, fine. But if this is about being scared of GOP attack ads, then they're chickenshit.
-
No, that’s not why. She’s been one of the best party leaders either side of the aisle. It’s only about power. And Tim Ryan and his supporters are power hungry.https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5aba7034e4b008c9e5fbd786 …
-
And I think wanting power--either because they believe there should be a new guard of young Dems or because they want the power for themselves--is a valid, if scummy, reason to vote against her.

Where are your articles on how unpopular Paul Ryan is. Hint his and McConnells popularity is lower than Pelosi. But i know your scared of Ryan and McConnell so you go after the woman, how brave of you.

The democrats need to stop fighting among themselves. They need to put their energy into getting elected in November before they worry about who might be house leader. It shouldn't be hard on campaign trail to say, I want to be elected and will worry about Nancy if I get elected.
