yes. but there are a lot of incumbents who are delinquent and/or unhelpful to DCCC who still get DCCC $$. Heck, Connor Lamb just said he won't vote for Pelosi, the PARTY LEADER, and he got $$$.

I agree with your point. But if the party’s argument is that it’s for incumbent protection - and that’s why “dues” are required of incumbents - a member who doesn’t pay dues can have less expectation of help in a primary in a district that is more likely to elect a D than an R.

all true. and fair. but, I do wonder what precedent this sets for other D's who fall out of favor w/ party-line on ideology.

This should not be remarkable. It should have happened years ago. He’s a hack and has ignored his constituents for years. Recently, he could not name all of the communities in his district. In his defense, it has been gerrymandered something fierce for him.
