I have written sparingly about Clinton since "Shattered" came out. I don't think everything should be a comparison between her and Trump or her and anyone else. In this moment, it seemed Oprah hit a particular chord with a broad audience that HRC didn't hit in the same way 1/2

Part of that is the timing. The backlash to Trump has rallied women and the MeToo movement is a big part of that. The first woman to win the presidency will stand on Clinton's shoulders. 2/2

Trump can’t string 2 coherent sentences together, but yes, please tell us how HRC couldn’t give a rousing speech in a piece about Oprah that had not one thing to do with HRC. Backpedal all you want, it’s still a sexist hit piece. Shame on you. PS. The article sucks anyway.
