Wow, this is irresponsibly bad journalism. You're talking about women voters but only mention white women's votes specifically. You treat African American voters as a monolith but separate white voters by gender. This is so, so terrible.https://twitter.com/jonallendc/status/940867082501218309 …
I think I did write that story. The headline is women, the lede is women, the main data point is 58 percent of women - all women. All that said, I understand your point and appreciate you making it.

And I will just add, regarding your point about white women, white men were nearly twice as likely to vote for Jones than Obama in 2012, so I'm not really sure the story of change in white women's votes in comparison to white men's votes is all that notable either

No, not all women. It’s quite clear that white women went for Moore. You’re using black women to provide cover for what white women did. It’s misleading.

You cannot talk about women drawing the line without talking about the racial breakdown. It was NOT all women who saved Alabama from their pedophile candidate.

It’s telling that the only person you’ve bothered to discuss this with is another white man.

Could you provide your data source... 58% of all women & what is the ethnicity make up of the 58% ?

The headline is 98% black women. But you're not going to ever acknowledge that so have a good day ignoring everyone.
