His point is that people jump on the bandwagon and praise members of the party they align with without knowing much about them. Just hyperpartisanship.

What we say in “private” when we think no one is listening says more about our character than what we say into a microphone.

No it means that you have no real friends in that room...Don't agreed with what he said, but if you think you are among friends you speak differently and if that person had a problem with what he said a real friend would pull him aside & tell him what he said was wrong & not cool

"Private meeting" does not mean "a hang-out with my pals."

Once again if the person had a problem with what was said you tell that person to their face, why you have problem, what was said was a problem and you are not down with that type of word...I assume if the person was there they are on his team, trying to help him

You are not understanding what a real friend or someone trying to help you would do tell you you are wrong, and correct you. Trump has no friends, only people that see him as a vehicle to get things they want, he has said awful things in private and public & has not learned

Weird, the professor in the Kavanagh accusation was on every screen for a SOLID month & honored as being an unimpeachable source despite looking/talking crazy, contradictory and 40yrs ago. It’s sooo weird this is different.
