On point 4, most WH reporters would run with virtually every word of that op ed in quotes for a story, though, granting anonymity to the source.

Sure. I’m not against the use of anonymous sources. I use them a lot. I do think the standard should be higher for printing an anonymous opinion piece, just like I think it should be higher for allowing blind sources to register opinions, rather than facts, in news stories.

This is nothing short of TREASON. Either the NY Times has made up this story to undermine the president or A senior administration official with high security clearance is working against & acting as a mole against a fairly elected president It's treason either way.
