Sadly, I never made it past the state tournament level in Little League, Babe Ruth or American Legion ball. But playing postseason baseball - and having just the hope of making it to the regional and national championships - was thrilling.

I used to agree with this, but I've since learned that a lot of money is made in this venture - but none for the actual children playing. It appears to be a case of child exploitation. Let them play - but no tv. They are too young.
