I’m in the tank for Bryce, but we’d be selling low here folks. He’s 25 and barely into what are supposed to be his peak years.https://twitter.com/ngreenberg/status/1014178510162857984 …

He busted his thumb legging out a bases-clearing triple. He busted his knee running out a ground ball by slipping on a wet bag in a game that shouldn't have been played. I see the Vegas Knights stuff as not pandering.
-
I was at the rain game. It was insane for him to pick that moment to bust his butt. Just like it was insane for him to run into the right field wall in Dodger Stadium his rookie year.

I think he can be a great, great player and still might be. But 7 seasons in, he’s not worth a 10-yr deal. Not when you need a 1B, 2B, CF & 1-2 starting pitchers, plus resigning Rendon.

I'm looking forward to the change of heart from you if he goes to Philly or
@StuPolitics when he signs with the Yankees. :) -
I would love to be wrong about Bryce.

I’ll take Bryce in a Phils uni if it’s a 3-yr deal. Or one of those 7-yr deals with opt out clauses that make it almost certainly a 3-yr deal.

He’s hit 30 HR once, never had a 100-RBI season, sports a .278 career average, is injury prone, gets thrown out on the bases like a nincompoop regularly, has hit .211 in the postseason and has struck out more than 100 times in 4 seasons. Take away MVP year, he’s pedestrian.

I suggested, only somewhat facetiously, they should return him to catcher.
