Sessions cites Paul on immigration policy, saying laws of government must be respected because "God has ordained them for the purpose of order." Did Paul disagree with Leviticus? "When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them."https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/immigration/sessions-cites-bible-defense-breaking-families-blames-migrant-parents-n883296?cid=eml_nbn_20180614 …

Passage was also used to justify slavery. Probably by Sessions’ very same ancestors. He’s the absolute worst.

Sessions seems to forget there’s this thing called the Constitution. That is the basis for our laws, not the Bible. We are not (yet) a theocracy.

No because St. Thomas Aquinas clearly explains it in the Summa Theologiae. Just laws (laws that conform to natural and divine law) MUST be obeyed. Unjust laws (like separating children from their parents) are not “ordained for the purpose of order”

Whenever and Wherever an atrocity is taking place, the Bible is the go to book for the rationalization of said atrocity. The Bible has justified every horrible act ever made by man.

Sessions is creating law as he speaks. It's Congress's job to make law. Sessions is interpreting the law. The Court interprets the law. Refugees & children are victims. They weren't turned away at the border. They were invited in. ICE says separation is a deterrent! Torture!
