Peak Trump?: In a week in which he portrayed Eagles players as unpatriotic for not standing for the national anthem - they did - he says he might pardon Muhammad Ali, who went to jail rather than going to war because of his beliefs. Fame, it seems, conquers all.

As has been pointed out, Ali didn't go to jail - but he was convicted, and had to fight for several years in court rather than the ring. And yes, conviction was overturned, but not sure whether that means Trump couldn't pardon him, too. We're already in the realm of symbolism.

He’s just trolling for attention. Ali’s family should tell trump they want nothing to do with him and Muhammad Ali would have felt the same. It’s disgraceful

Ali isn't campaigning post humously. Nor would he accept it from Cadet Bonespurs if he were. But I get your point.

I am a lifelong Eagles fan...proud they never knelt! However, the Eagles chose to disrespect the President due to his outspoken views on NFLers taking a knee. They committed to come and then backed out. They missed an opportunity for dialog! The Eagles fumbled the ball.

Why would anyone go become a prop for this madman’s antics? I applaud the Eagles for having the backbone to stand up to this bully POS n
