    When I was a kid, I tried to read a copy of The Fountainhead that I found on my parents' shelf. I gave up about 100 pages in out of sheer boredom. I consider this an inoculation.

    If there ever was a proponent of scientism, it would be Rand. No caveats or middle ground. In my view, she was an incredibly dogmatic thinker, intolerant of anyone who opposed her; similar to the dictators she so despised!

    It’s one thing to object to an idea or to a set of propositions. It’s another to object to a class of people.

    This is really important. The always dubious Steele dossier was the perfect straw man for Trumpians - if they could knock that down they knock down the whole collusion idea. As explains, in fact, evidence of collusion was staring us in the face.
