Healthcare professionals demanded we drastically reduce the jail population, so we listened. On Jan 21, the SF jail population was 1,238. On March 4, when the emergency was declared, it was 1,097. Yesterday, it was 766. Meanwhile, crime rates continue to decrease in SF.

Here is what was shared 1) don’t file cases 2) don’t oppose the release of dealers pedaling dangerous deadly drugs, arsonists or stalkers 3) continue to collect bloated checks on “work” from home 4) try not to think about the oath to protect the people from criminals
