For me it was the Dreamcast, I got it years after it was discontinued. I always wanted a Genesis and a DC, but I didn’t have much money and they neither were really supported where I live. If it counts, my first Sega game was the PS2 port of Crazy Taxi.

I sometimes wonder how many hours I spent playing Ghost House as a kid without ever beating a single vampire

Traded a classmate in high school for a Genenis. He traded me his Genesis (and Sonic 1 game) for my SNES version of Street Fighter 2 Turbo. Only a couple months before Super Street Fighter 2 came out for the SNES, which I got. I think I won that deal.

My first console was Sega Master System with Alex Kidd. I don’t remember the last time I saw the game or listened to its music, but I’ll never forget the music of the first stage

My first Sega system was Dreamcast because growing up I was a Nintendo Fanboy.

Master System with Hang-On/Jungle Hunt. My favorite game was The Ninja. And Ghost House was good!
